Passion, Expertise, and Purpose

Lower Cape Fear Wildlife is an all-volunteer chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation — and the people who lead it bring a depth of talent, experience, and dedication that is genuinely remarkable. From marine science to sustainability policy, from arts education to decades of conservation advocacy, the current board represents one of the most accomplished and multidisciplinary teams in the NCWF chapter network. What they share is a fierce commitment to the wildlife, wild places, and communities of the southern North Carolina coast — and the professional skills and resources to make a real difference.

Our Story

Together, this board brings marine science, sustainability policy, conservation advocacy, arts education, and decades of community organizing to bear on the challenges facing the southern North Carolina coast. They are researchers and educators, organizers and advocates, artists and naturalists. They are all volunteers — driven not by salary but by a shared belief that the wild places and wild creatures of the Cape Fear region are worth fighting for.

Lower Cape Fear Wildlife is fortunate to have them — and the coast is better for it. We are excited to expand our team. Let's Talk!
