Our mission is to actively engage in preventative and restorative action
to promote habitat conservation and environmental education in the
Lower Cape Fear River Basin.
Lower Cape Fear Wildlife is one of southeastern North Carolina’s leading environmental organizations, working alongside community groups to protect wildlife, restore habitats, and support conservation across Brunswick County and the Cape Fear River Basin. We are an all volunteer chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation serving the Lower Cape Fear Region.
Our chapter leadership brings decades of experience in environmental advocacy, sustainability, and habitat restoration across North Carolina.

Lower Cape Fear Wildlife welcomes volunteers, residents, and partners who want to support conservation in Brunswick County and the Lower Cape Fear region. Whether you’re interested in habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring, environmental education, or community outreach, there is a place for you in our work.
